Your course consists of two parts for each of the PADI certifications
After you book, you will receive login instructions for the online eLearning PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course theory. These modules and quizzes need to be completed before you arrive and start your practical training.
At the completion of your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course you will receive additional online eLearning theory as we progressively work though each of the PADI Courses (Rescue, Deep Diver, Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver, Underwater Navigation, Night Diver, Search and Recovery Diver).
Diving at Nelson Bay’s beautiful white sandy bays, including practical training at Fly Point - Halifax aquatic marine sanctuary, one of the most visited dive sites in NSW and other local dive sites.
Boat dives at Broughton Island.
Pre-requisites
Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification)
Minimum of 15 years of age
Be fit to dive (see Medical Requirements)
Certification Requirements
Upon completing each of the 7 PADI course you will be issued with the completed Diver certification eCard.
Upon completing all 7 PADI courses and have logged 50 dives you will be awarded you Master Scuba Diver certification.
You will join the elite, as the Master Scuba Diver rating is the highest recreational diver rating in the PADI System and denotes a diver with superior experience and achievement.
Equipment
If you do not have your own equipment, simply add the rental equipment you require to the shopping cart as needed as you progress through the courses. This provides you great flexibility as you pay as you go and only pay for equipment you need to hire.
Besides your basic scuba equipment (BCD, regulator, dive computer, wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, boots, weights), you will need a:
Delayed Surface Marker Bouy (DSMB)
Pocket mask
Two underwater torches
Medical Requirements
Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving.
Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical form to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course.
